I never thought that our weekends away to fun destinations would be replaced with hours spent planning kitchen remodels and organizing closets… But we bought a house and here we are, grabbing coffees between trips to Home Depot and IKEA. From inexpensive bed frames to on trend arched mirrors, I have a photographic memory of the IKEA catalog at this point. stoneware arch
The IKEA VIDSTRÄCKT stoneware curved sculpture is a great find! The speckled ceramic and curved arch shape are very on trend. Add to a bookshelf, coffee table or console table to instantly update your decor for less than $10.
chic office chair
The IKEA FJÄLLBERGET conference chair with wheels, light oak veneer, and a beige cushion is on my to-buy list when I upgrade my home office for fall. If you’re like me, working from home has been extended and you’re looking to treat yourself to a comfortable and cute office chair to make your micro home office a little more exciting.
DIMMABLE LED LIGHTS
This IKEA MYRVARV LED light strip light is flexible and dimmable. It can be cut to size so you can install it anywhere that would benefit from a little extra lighting. I love having lights under the kitchen cabinets, but you can get really creative with these! Add LED strip lights under your bed or behind a mirror for dramatic effect.
LARGE SHOPPING TOTE
The SPIKRAK shopping tote has an impressive 13 gallons of storage space, is made from sustainably grown cotton, it’s washable, AND is under $3. I’m stocking up on a few of these! I have a similar natural cotton oversize tote with handles that I use all the time for groceries, travel, storage, beach days, but it costs -gasp -more than a hundred dollars. I’ve been looking for a dupe and this find is a great deal.

Outdoor Table
The IKEA KROKHOLMEN coffee table is a chic outdoor table in beige. I’ve had my eye on it for weeks, but it has been sold out! If it’s available near you, grab it before it’s gone again. It’s only $34.99.
Shell Dishes
This set of two IKEA NYFÅNGAD shell dishes are perfect for holding jewelry on a dresser, rings on your nightstand, or keys on an entry table. Even better, they are under $6 for two!
Woven chair
The IKEA VOXLÖV bamboo chair is a light wood and can be used as a chic dining chair, desk chair, or anywhere you need a spare seat. The woven rattan back and seat are timelessly cool.
Cast iron cookware
The VARDAGEN, is part of IKEA’s new line of cast iron cookware. It is a seriously amazing price. For less than $40 you’ll get an affordable, high quality cast iron dutch oven for slow cooking.

glossy vase
This IKEA FNITTRIG vase has an almost iridescent glossy gray finish that I really love. It’s under $10 and the color would contrast nicely with pampas grass or other dried florals.
Linen Pillows
The IKEA VIGDIS pillow is actually made of ramie, which is a natural fiber similar to linen. These soft pillow covers are a great price. They’re less than $8 and come in several colors. I really love the linen look and think it elevates any couch or bed you place them on.
Rattan mirror
The IKEA OPPHEM rattan mirror is under $40. This mirror could be hung over a desk in an office, would be charming near your front door for a last look before stepping out, and brings the rattan decor trend into any room. I wish there was also a large size.
jute rugs
The IKEA LOHALS jute rug is the ultimate affordable rug at under $100. It’s a neutral background to pull together all of the furniture in your room. Check out this rug size guide to make sure you’re buying a rug that is the right size for your space. A rug that’s too small makes a room look smaller!

upholstered bed
The IKEA VADHEIM upholstered bed frame in a lovely soft green is such a great find. It’s $399! For less than $400 you can have a stylish bed that will elevate your whole bedroom. This IKEA find is proof that an inexpensive bed does not have to be boring.
light wood desk
The IKEA LISABO desk in ash wood caught my eye in person at IKEA. I use a nook in our living room as a small office and this desk is narrow enough to work, but not so small that it doesn’t offer enough work space. Light wood, minimalist desk legs, and a narrow profile are great for small office spaces.
rattan armchair
The IKEA ULRIKSBERG is the Japandi accent chair of my dreams. I love a furniture find that mixes woven rattan with black metal arms and legs. It would look great in so many homes styles—from boho to modern to Scandinavian. They’re a great price at under $100 per chair.
woven door cabinet
The IKEA IVAR cabinet with light pine wood and woven rattan doors is such a cool find. It’s under $100, much more affordable than the other rattan or cane cabinets I’ve seen in this size. Can you tell I’m crazy for light wood and rattan accents right now?
home organization finds
woven box
The IKEA SMARRA box is a cute catchall for clutter in home offices, in closets, and on shelves. My “office” is our living room so I need to have somewhere beautiful to stash pens, notebooks, and other desk clutter when not in use. It’s woven in bamboo and under $15.
basket with handle
The IKEA RISATORP wire basket is great for items that you’d like to store together and move from room to room. I’m a fan of this basket for my watercolor supplies. It’s easy to grab, carry where I want to paint, and toss everything in the basket when I’m done. It’s less than $13.
blanket basket
The IKEA FLÅDIS seagrass basket is the classic hold everything basket. You can place it next to your couch for cozy blankets on chilly evenings, use it to wrangle loose laundry in a bathroom, or keep one in the office to tame the tangle of chargers, cables, adapters, etc. All that for less than $10.
drawer organizers
The IKEA SKUBB is a low-key hero item for home organization. This inexpensive little set of boxes costs less than $5 and will bring so much Marie Kondo zen happiness to your drawers. Container Store will charge you two or three times more for the same thing.
closet ORGANIZERs
The IKEA KOMPLEMENT is a super soft storage box in a nice light gray color that I like using on the top shelf in my closet. It transforms hard to reach areas into useful space. They’re lightweight which makes them easy to take off a high shelf and put right back. Less than $14 will get you two.
shoe rack
The IKEA GREJIG shoe rack is under $5 and great for adding more vertical storage space to your closets. We have two and like them so much we will definitely be getting more. I use them in the closet where we store cleaning supplies and the bedroom closet. I haven’t found this kind of rack at a more affordable price.

modern lamp
This IKEA SIMRISHAMN modern double globe lamp with sleek chrome details is so sculptural, it’s like a piece of art. It looks much more luxe than it’s $39 price tag. This would make a statement as a bedside lamp. I’d also love to see this as accent lighting in a living room or office.
cutting board
The IKEA APTITLIG bamboo cutting board is a staple at our house. I use it to serve homemade pizza, arrange tapas, and for chopping things. It’s an inexpensive cutting board at less than $10. I’m a fan of all IKEA cutting boards, including the plastic ones, but this bamboo one is my favorite.
grey plant pot
The IKEA GRADVIS plant pot in light grey came home with us for a new spider plant we also purchased at IKEA. Did you know they have a nursery of real plants? The plant pots at Ikea are a great deal. This one was under $10 and they start at just .99 cents!
pink glasses
The IKEA POKAL glass is charming, inexpensive, and the perfect shade of pink. For less than $2, a set of these pink drinking glasses would bring some fun to future dinner parties and make the occasional glass of water you snag between video calls more delightful.
